Septeto Santiaguero comes back to Biarritz after more than 20 years from its first presentation here

Tonight in the Gare du Midi, Biarritz, France, in front of a thousand people coming from several European cities to enjoy exquisite cuban music, you will listen to “A mi qué”, “La rumba está buena”, “Amor Silvestre”, “La Guarapachanga” and other themes of Septeto Santiaguero’s most recent discography production. Septeto Santiaguero se escucharán esta noche en La Gare di Midi, en Biarritz Francia, ante un millar de personas que procedente de varias ciudades de Europa han venido a disfrutar de exquisita música cubana.

Maestro Fernando Dewar, the band’s Director, confirmed that all entrances have been sold out and that tonight they will present a varied repertoire of their latest CD’S hits. This will be the second chance for Septeto Santiaguero to perform in this important film festival.

“The first time was in 1996, film festival’s second edition – said Dewar –at the very beginning of our career. We are very happy to come back here for our 25th anniversary and we are full of expectations, debt to the European audience who enjoy a lot of our music”.

Gare du Midi, the stage where they are performing tonight since 9pm, was an ancient railway station, which became Biarritz gran theatre, after its renovation in 1991.
